lyrics

Well I've got feet, I've got feet
They can carry me better than they used to
But if I fall, if I fall
They're gonna bury me just like everyone else
Well I'll stand tall, I'll stand tall
I'm a cherry tree just blossoming
And I wont fall, I wont fall
They wont bury me before my time has come

You've gotta know that I've been stretched too thin
But it's helping just to see you smile

Cause I need to learn from you
And everything that you stand for
You've got the heart of a lion
Yes you do
And I could spend my whole life chasing after it
You've got the heart of a lion

I was born, I was born
In the middle of a beautiful winter
But sometimes I, sometimes I hate the snow
Cause this has been, this has been
About anything but a beautiful winter
And I'm not blind I know it's time to go

Because lately I'm not feeling my self
Would you help me get away for a while

Cause I need to learn from you
And everything that you stand for
You've got the heart of a lion
Yes you do
And I could spend my whole life chasing after it
You've got the heart of a lion

Not all that wander are lost
A rolling stone gathers no moss
But I'm getting tired of running
And green is my favourite colour

Cause I need to learn from you
And everything that you stand for
You've got the heart of a lion
Yes you do
And I could spend my whole life chasing after it
You've got the heart of a lion

EXCUSE ME. Guelph, Ontario

Excuse Me is Adam Kuhrt, Aleks Liskauskas, Dylan Creed, Heyden Reay, and Jo Seymour; a five-piece alternative rock group. The band formed at the University of Guelph in 2017 and developed a strong local following shortly thereafter.

We started our journey practicing in a cramped bedroom space, and somehow ended up in an even smaller one; but our dreams have never been bigger.
